If you read my blog, you may have noticed a new addition to my sidebar.
The name Pretty Nostalgic seems to speak for itself, but it is something much more. Pretty Nostalgic is wonderful quarterly magazine for those who would like to, or do, live a more sustainable, hands-on, mindful life. It’s also for those who remember a slower paced life; when neighbours talked, shopkeepers knew your name and the friendly local bobby (policeman) stopped to pass the time of day.
All article contributors love the way sustainable living is indelibly linked to how we used to do things, and readers can be involved with the magazine – either by contributing an article or showing us their nostalgic home.
When I found this magazine, it was wonderful to find people who think like me. I have a love for social and domestic history, and Pretty Nostalgic really fits in with this. And as it’s advert-free, there’s lots to enjoy.
If I’ve whetted your appetite, then take a look at their website to read more. And if it’s right up your street, take out a subscription, wherever you are in the world. If you have a business, and it fits into the ethics of the magazine, there is a business subscription, and have your business advertised in the magazine. (Any advertising is for business subscribers only).
Go on, take a dip into the past.
